

Maximizing potential
Through environmental education, access aims to discuss the maximising of the landscapes / spaces potential, environmentally and creatively. Whether it be the grounds of an institution, or the wider landscape.
Collaboration
Anything that access assists in accomplishing will, as mentioned previously, be manageable by the participants, as they will have taken part in the decision to implement it. Collaboration is the key.
Worth
Though the use of community and group space can be politically controversial at times access has no intention of intruding. access hopes that through the series of modules the group will generate personal ideas for enhancing and developing their space to be an expression of their understanding for one and other and the environment.
Scale
access operates on an intimate and small scale, this way it can gain an understanding of the clients perspective and requirements. access believes that scale is a key part to this. If a project is too large then its facilitators cannot keep in touch with the needs and emotions of the group. The scale of access's involvement is also what makes it economically sound.
Different groups and formats
There may be times when the space to be designed upon are only temporarily available. In which case access would look at other formats, for example, performance books and film, - with which to realise expression. However discussions could lead to implementing something permanent within their wider community.
